FAQ's

There are some basic and specific admission requirements for international students. The entry criteria may vary according to the programs as well. Mostly 65% and above percentage in the previous educational qualification are considered good for UG courses and 60% and above for PG programs. Besides, a good English Proficiency score is also required. The websites of the institutions may also be checked to get the exact requirements.

For International students there are varied study and tuition fees options The UG courses can cost in the range of AUD 15000- 33000 depending on the field of Study and The PG courses can cost in the range of AUD 20000- 37000 based on the course and field of study plus the living cost depends on your city of residence typically it is around AUD 24000- 30000 annually.

The eligibility for scholarships for international students aspiring to study in Australia is judged on the basis of outstanding academic grades and exceptional English Proficiency scores. Scholarships are mostly offered by the universities without any particular application based on the eligibility benchmarks but at some institutions the students need to apply for the same.

The processing time for a AUS student visa is between 3-4 weeks. It is always suggested to apply for your Student Visa atleast 2-3 month before the start of the admission term as the Visa decision time can be longer during the peak time.

Typically, the Institutions in AUS require at least an overall score of IELTS Band 6.5 and above, with a minimum of Band 6 in each of the four abilities assessed – Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.

International students can work while studying in AUS if they have a valid study permit and are allowed to work part time for 20 hours a week during term time and full time during vacations.

AUS allows students a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 4 years for post study work depending on the course one has studied. This allows them to find relevant employment, get work rights and convert into other Visa category that allows them to settle in AUS permanently.
