Your Role: Product Manager – Job Search Services

As the Product Manager for Job Search Services, you’ll drive the development of job search solutions that meet user needs and market demands. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to create a seamless experience for job-seekers and connect our various products and services into the customer's experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Optimization

  1. Define Product Strategy: Shape and align job search services with Y-Axis's mission.
  2. Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee development, enhancement, and promotion of job search offerings.
  3. Optimize Processes: Streamline workflows for better efficiency and client satisfaction.
  4. Market Research & Innovation: Use market insights and feedback to drive product improvements.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with tech, vendors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
  6. Data-Driven Enhancements: Leverage metrics to continuously improve service delivery.

Financial Management

  1. P&L Ownership: Manage revenue and costs to meet financial goals.
  2. Pricing & Budgeting: Develop pricing models and budgets to maximize profitability.

Marketing & Promotion

  1. Campaigns & Content: Create strategies to boost visibility and engagement; develop impactful materials.
  2. Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Operational Support

  1. Ensure Product Visibility: Maintain accurate and updated representation across platforms.
  2. Operational Readiness: Prepare new services for seamless launch and internal alignment.

What We’re Looking For

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, product management, or a related field

MBA or product management certification is a bonus

Experience

3-5 years in product management, ideally in job search or recruitment

Skills
  1. Deep understanding of the stages of product development, including ideation, prototyping, testing, launch, and iteration.
  2. Knowledge of best practices in UX and UI, enabling you to collaborate effectively with designers and ensure a user-friendly experience.
  3. Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL, or product-specific analytics platforms) to analyze user behavior, engagement, and feature performance.
  4. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello for project tracking and task management, ensuring that product development remains organized and timely.
  5. Knowledge of APIs, databases, and system architecture helps you collaborate with engineers and understand technical feasibility.
