Bringing a holistic approach towards
Islamic education in schools

Hyderabad Educational Foundation has joined hands with several schools across Hyderabad to provide ongoing moral and religious education in their premises. These are English Medium schools run by Muslim managements.

The Role of HEF

  • Deputation of one trained teacher to each partner school
  • Payment of salary to the teachers and other staff of the foundation
  • Conducting periodic tests, correcting answer papers and continuous monitoring of student progress and teacher performance

The Role of Associated Schools

  • To allocate one period for each class (I to VII) to teach subjects of Islamic education daily
  • To ensure all students attend these periods without fail
  • To provide full cooperation to the teacher deputed by the foundation
  • To meet part of the expenses being incurred on the implementation of this scheme

Teachers

The teachers appointed by the HEF have a minimum qualification of Aalim or Hafiz and come with 3-4 years of experience treating in Madarasas. The teachers selected from this pool of talent are then given 30 days on intensive trining to prepare them to teach in English medium schools.

Curriculum

Currently we are using textbooks prepared by Maulana Abdul Hassan Nadvi islamic Academy. These textbooks are used by 1500+ schools through out the country to teach more than 5,00,000 children and are accepted by all MASLAKS of the Muslim comunity.We are also working in parallel to constitute our own curriculum.A committee of Ulema and Islamic Scholars is constituted under the chairmanship of Hazrat Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani and supervision of Professor J. Jaeelunnisa Hashmi to prepare textbooks of Islamic Education.Dr. Md.Shahabuddin, Asst. Professor of Arabic, EFL University is the convener of this committee.
